29 weeks and counting....

Last week, at 28 weeks we were finally able to get our repeat ultrasound! It was a MUCH better appointment and calmed our nerves. All is well, healthy, and strong with our youngest son. He is measuring right on target at an estimated 2 pounds 15 ounces. I have been concerned lately with increasing Braxton Hicks contractions that are much too strong. The ultrasound did show that the amniotic fluid is on the low end of normal, which explains the increased contractions: dehydration. So, with this brutal summer heat I am trying to drink more water. They will repeat the ultrasound in four weeks to make sure he is still safe. Here is the latest picture of our youngest. The picture is a bit blurry due to the fact that the placenta is in an anterior position. This is why the first ultrasound was difficult to get good pictures too, the placenta sits right under my belly button and blocks most of the views! Do you recognize those adorable chunky cheeks?

Glad all is well, healthy and strong! Drink, drink, drink! I remember Tara keeping a 2 quart pitcher by her bed that she had to finish every day. That is ALOT of water.
