We have been studying land animals all year with our Apologia science. We decided to take a family field trip and see these animals in person!
We actually had a great deal for a family membership this year. Hopefully we will be able to make another trip this year!
NC State offers a yearly farm days every spring. We have not been for several years. The kids had fun checking out all the farm animals.
Of course holding the chicks was the highlight!
They had tractors to crawl on too.
