Snow days!

This weekend we have had a fun winter storm! Friday night it started snowing and continued most of Saturday. The best part was that Mommy did not have to go to work this weekend! Here are a few pictures of our snow days!

Mommy and Grace only lasted for a few minutes outside, but the boys had a blast!

Our Gracie is 2 months old!

Today our Gracie turned two months!! It is so hard to believe this time has gone by so fast. She is such a joy to be around, so sweet in every way. We are having so much fun as she is starting to interact so much! Yesterday she started holding toys in her hands. What a blessing she is to all four of us. Her big brothers missed her so much while she was gone. We can't wait to see what this next month holds for her as she continues to develop so quickly!

Short but sweet

Here are just a few more photos of our time in Arizona, it was such a short trip....but well worth it. Who knows when Gracie would have had a chance to meet her cousins and Aunts and Uncles if it wasn't for Southwest travel funds and help from my family! What a blessing!

Here is Gracie with her Grammy and Papa.

Thursday we were able to visit with two of my closest friends from when I was in high school and college. Kristen has two little boys near Luke and Ben's age and Sonya (my college roomie for 4 years) has Josiah who is almost 5 months old. Josiah had us rolling laughing with the looks he was giving us when he was surrounded by all the girls! What great friends, they even braved horrible winds and rain to come visit us.
Here is Sonya and Josiah getting to meet Gracie.

Josiah with the ladies!

Here is my brother Nick with his daughter Mia, and my sister Reagan with Tessa. Three babies and two weddings this year made it quite the busy year for the Kerger family!

Here is Gracie with Aunt Raleigh!

Here is me with my niece Tessa!

This week Arizona got one of the worst storms they have had in the last 30 plus years....all the flights on Thursday were canceled and we were not sure we would get to fly out on Friday. Thankfully it cleared up enough to let us fly home.

Gracie did so well the whole trip. Between our Christmas trip to PA and this trip Gracie has been in 7 states....and she is not even 2 months yet!!!

More Arizona fun!

Grammy and Papa got three new grand-daughters this year. So Grammy calls them her triplets! Here are the "triplets" together for some pictures and some family time last night!

Tessa (middle) is the oldest at 5 months, Mia is 4 months and Gracie is almost two months old!

In this one Gracie is upset becaue Tessa and Mia kept talking about stealing her cute boots! :)

Here is Gracie with her Papa.

Gracie also got to meet Uncle Jake and Aunt Shelby! We missed their wedding since it was the day before Gracie was due to be born!

Here is Gracie trying out Mia's Bumbo seat for the first time! She loved it!!!

Surprise travel!!

So Gracie has become quite the travel pro this week! Two weeks ago we decided to check out when our travel credits expired on Southwest airlines. (We had received a bunch of credits last summer when we flew to Arizona). Well come to find out those funds expired today Jan 19th!!!! So on a whim, Gracie and I decided to fly to Arizona to meet her Kerger side of the family. Daddy and the boys drove to Virginia to spend the week with Morgan family, and Gracie and I will fly back into VA to meet up with them on Friday before driving home to NC Sunday.

Gracie did amazing on the flight! I could not have asked for a better flight, she slept a ton and then after eating spent time charming all those around her with her smiles and giggles!

We are staying with Uncle Nick and Aunt Katie and cousin Mia (who is 2 months older than Gracie!) Last night Gracie got to meet Aunt Reagan, Uncle Adam and cousin Tessa who is 3 months older, Aunt Raleigh and her Papa!!

It is so nice to be able to stay with Nick and Katie because Mia is so sweet to share her swing and bathtub and other baby items with us!

More updates later.....we will have to update the boys adventures later as well once I have access to the pictures Daddy is taking!

Family fun day

Today we had a fun day as a family. We went to a natural science museum for the morning. We all had such a blast looking at the exhibits and learning about different animals. For dinner we enjoyed a special treat: pizza from Papa John's (thanks to some friends who gave us a gift card and kept us from having to cook!).

The boys loved all the animals, and even got to see some live ones. Ben is our fearless son. He is willing to pet anything. Luke on the other hand is more reserved and would rather just watch! Gracie on the other hand just slept through most of the museum!

Here are just a few updated pictures of our Gracie. She is growing so fast!

We have been working on colors with Ben, here he is sorting his matchbox cars by color! Also in our family news....Ben has been doing great potty training this week. We have avoided this while I was in the end of my pregnancy, since it was too hard to clean up accidents while 9 months pregnant on crutches! We have even had several days this week where both boys have worn underwear all day, even for naps! We are so excited about the idea of not having to buy so many diapers!!

Gracie loves making her Daddy smile!

Winter fun

New Years Day our whole family took a walk to a local park. It was a first since my ankle injury...which is still slowly healing. At this point everything is so tight from not being worked for so many weeks, it is going to take a lot of therapy to get it strong again....but I can now drive!!!

Here are a few shots of our little ones bundled up to play outside!

We love winter!
