Happy Birthday Luke!

Our oldest son Luke turned nine yesterday! Luke has an incredibly compassionate and tender heart. He loves animals and nature. He is the most amazing big brother with a special spot for Isaac. Luke is responsible and an early riser! He loves to read and plan activities for his younger siblings.

We celebrated with a camping themed birthday party!

The cake even had a s'mores middle!

For Luke's birthday gift we are sending him to a week long horse camp! He will attend the camp in June and is ecstatic!

We love you sweet Luke! Happy 9th Birthday!

Strawberries gallore!

Here are just a few pictures as a follow up from our strawberry picking.

One of our favorite books to read is Patricia Polacco's Thunder Cake. During a recent storm we made our own thunder cake!

With our strawberries we made strawberry jam and strawberry pie!

Isaac was the taste tester! :)

Random Pictures Catch up :) and a little bit of school

Here are just some random cute pictures from the last month! Enjoy!

Warmer weather means lots of play time outside!

Three little brothers in a tub...

Helping Mommy make lunch

Playing "Gold Miners" after learning about the California gold rush in school!

Making a science experiment to resemble Brittle Stars.

Lots of reading as usual in the Morgan house.

Big siblings are great for keeping Isaac entertained!

In school all year we have studied the different names for Christ. While studying Christ as the Resurrection and the Life we made Resurrection cookies. They all loved this activity!

Watching the sealed "tomb" oven before going to bed. When they woke up the cookies were hollow inside and the seal was broken!

Just relaxing!

 Buddies

This spring Gracie has been taking ballet lessons. She is absolutely loving it! She does not walk anymore she skips and satchets!

Thankfully, big brothers are great for ballet practice!

Little brothers like to practice too!

Jacob has also been able to participate in his own activity for the first time this spring, soccer!

He loves it unless there is heavy machinery nearby digging the pool for the new YMCA! Then he tells me, "I am just too distracted to play soccer." What 4 year old boy is not distracted by bulldozers? :)

Little and big brothers are both great at cheering Jacob on while he is playing soccer.

In other news, this little munchkin is on the move, climbing up the stairs by himself! Yikes, slow down little man! He is not walking unassisted yet....but then again, he has 5 personal helpers to cart him around. Who needs to walk? :)

We are winding down our official school year in the next few weeks. We will continue some aspects of school throughout the summer such as math, writing and spelling.
