Gracie is three months already!!!

What a precious month this has been! Gracie is growing so fast. Her favorite activities are watching Luke and Ben, talking with Daddy, giggling with Mommy, reading, and playing. She is developing so fast. She talks ALL the time. She also LOVES music and tries to sing along. What a gift each new day is with all three of our kids!

Gracie is doing so well learning to hold up her head, each day she seems to enjoy "tummy time" more and more. The boys are her biggest fans, they sit nearby cheering her on saying "good girl Gracie Grace"!

Of course, Gracie has also continued to just amaze us with her delightful smile!

Gracie has been doing better and better sleeping as well! Mommy has started working more day shifts, so it has been a huge relief that Gracie will go to bed earlier and sleep longer at night. This whole last week she has been sleeping about 7 hours before she wakes up to eat, then falls back to sleep for another 2-4 hours.

She also loves taking naps in the swing still!

It is so much fun to watch our three interact and play. Gracie loves to watch her big brothers in action.

Thank you Lord for this precious first three months of life!

Bath time fun

Bath time has become one of my most treasured times of day with Gracie. She loves taking a bath. (Well, she tolerates the bath...she loves playing with Mommy and Daddy while getting undressed and dressed after the bath!) She also has started to giggle as of this week, especially during this part of our evening routine. Here is just a quick video montage to give you a glimpse into why this night time routine is such a joy!

Happy Birthday Ben!

Today was Ben's 3rd birthday. Yes, that is correct, in a few weeks we will have two three year olds and a three month old! Ben decided he wanted pancakes for his birthday (one of his favorites) so we had Daddy's special chocolate chip pancakes for breakfast, followed by opening up some cards and presents from family. It is hard to believe he was 14 months old when we brought him home from Ethiopia! What a difference two years makes!

This is Ben, April 2008!

Yesterday both Luke and Ben helped me make Ben's birthday cupcakes.

After pancakes this morning, Ben opened up his cards and presents.

For dinner we had a special treat, Chick Fil A, complete with french fries, a rare treat!

The boys also got a chance to play in the inside play yard. It was pretty cold and windy today, so our play choices were limited!

Here is our big boy's birthday cupcake.

Ben enjoyed his cupcake and ice cream, and so did the rest of us!

Happy Birthday sweet boy, you are such a joy to your Mommy and Daddy. We are so excited to see what God has in store for this next year of your life!

Just a few pictures...

Here are just a few pictures of our three little ones. We are all just still learning to adjust to the challenges of being a family with three little ones. The last two weeks all five of us have been trying to get over a pretty nasty cold.

Here's a picture of us enjoying some reading time. Have I mentioned how much we like to read??

Here are our three getting ready for church last Sunday. Luke and Ben have been having so much fun with Gracie now that she is interacting more with them. They adore showing her toys, reading to her, and singing songs. I need to post a video soon of how cute they are!

Have a good week!
