Breakfast for six kids, six years and younger! :) Makes for a very full house!
Thankfully the Suburban comes in handy for driving around all these little ones! It is a real puzzle trying to get six booster and car seats to fit in a vehicle!
Morning at Jumping Beans. Lots of time to jump off some energy and enjoy cousin time. Poor Gracie is missing her girl cousins in Phoenix this week.
Kam and I actually took all six kids on a road trip to Charlotte to meet some wonderful missionary friends. It was such a joy to meet them in person, and the kids actually did pretty decent on the trip too! It is such a blessing to enjoy fellowship with believers who have a heart for the lost, especially if they love Ethiopia too. It was our first time to meet them, but they were so gracious it felt like visiting family. They are used to big families too, so they were not even phased by our busy crew.
This couple served in Ethiopia for some time, and their son was born there. He kept telling the boys that "All three of us were born in Ethiopia!" Luke and Ben thought that was so cool, but it wasn't until we got home that night that Luke asked, "Mommy, why did he say he was born in Ethiopia? He doesn't look like it!"
Hanging out with the cousins.
Thankfully the weather was beautiful during the week, so we spent a lot of time outside. Luke and Ben taught Jack and George how to play "Boxcar children" outside, which is what we used to do when we were little!
Jacob and George are five months a part.
Daddy was able to show Jack and George his police car!
Do these look like a bunch of criminals on their way to jail?
Jacob loves hanging out in the front seat with Daddy!
See, there is more room on the couch for six to read with Daddy/Uncle Jeff!
We had lots of time to play with blocks and cars and all things boy! Gracie is used to her brothers playing babies with her, but Jack and George were not all that interested!
At least when Gracie found out Aunt Kamie was visiting, she was so thrilled that there would be another girl! She even let Kamie put her hair up. It only lasted a few minutes, but it was still some fun girl bonding.
Okay, so sometimes putting all six in front of a quick movie is the only way to get breakfast ready!
Cousin cuddle time.
We tried to get a picture of the six in birth order, but Jack was not pleased to sit next to "Sister" as he called Gracie.
Jack had much more fun once he was between Luke and Ben for the "Goofy face" picture at the end!
Between our two families we have birth dates in 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, and soon to be 2012!
Thank you Kamie, Jack and George for coming to visit us. We miss you and love you so much!

Where do I even start...SO much cuteness!! I can just imagine how busy of a bunch those little ones were together! But i'm sure all the hectic moments were well worth the precious cousin time :) I love all of the pictures. Miss you all terribly!
