Spontaneous Field Trip

Last Sunday we decided to have lunch out as a family. On the way home we happened to pass a fire station that was having an open house! We made a U-Turn and decided to enjoy a spontaneous field trip. Since it was spontaneous, we hadn't brought our camera, but one of our cell phones did the job better than expected. :)

We all had so much fun exploring all the ins and outs of the fire trucks and fire station (and no, Daddy is not considering a career change).




All the kids got fire hats. Gracie even got a pink one!


The boys each got to try and shoot soccer balls off of cones with the spray from a fire hose! What fun!

Sometimes spontaneous field trips are the best! Especially when we have Daddy along to enjoy learning with us. We don't school Monday-Friday around here, it is a way of life in the Morgan household! :)
