Happy Birthday Luke!

Happy 11th Birthday to our oldest son, Luke! Luke has had a very full year. He is finishing up his 4th grade year in school. His favorite subjects are history, science, and reading. We recently went to a library book sale and Luke was devouring the rows of books looking for his own copy of Swiss Family Robinson and Robinson Caruso.  He is a voracious reader! Luke also still loves animals and anything related to the outdoors. He continues to be a great help in our family and epitomizes all things typical of an oldest child! Here are a few picture highlights of his 10th year!

All the kids love Bella, but Luke is the only one who attempts to put up with her when she is acting like a crazy, energetic puppy!

We had an old west theme to his party this year, complete with ribs and bottle root beer! Luke is our most adventurous eater. Each of the kids gets a "date" with Mom and Dad for their birthday at the restaurant of their choice. Luke's choice was sushi and he even ate the whole meal with chopsticks!

Thank you Lord for our precious son Luke. Thank you for the many gifts and talents you have given him, and for allowing us to be his family! We love you Luke, happy birthday!
