Here is a year in review of pictures for Ben! He has had a full year. He has developed a love for all things military. He also loves anything to do with building, tinkering, or putting things together. He is the engineer of the family for sure! As always, Ben loves running and anything that is loud and crazy. He has continued to perfect his push-ups, and surprised our church talent show audience with 82 perfect push-ups in sixty seconds! Ben also has a very creative, artistic side. He is always making me laugh with the scientific drawings he produces in his school notebooks. Ben has enjoyed 4H, a homeschool PE and art class, and Royal Ambassadors (RA's) at church this year as well.
With his love of all things military, a tank seemed like an appropriate birthday cake. He loved it!! It even had sparkler candles!
Ben opened an empty bag for this birthday with a look of confusion. We explained that his birthday present will be an entire week of Lego Robotics Camp this summer. He can't wait for June to arrive.
Thank you Lord for another birthday for our son Ben. Thank you for this energetic, busy, smart, little boy that keeps us on our toes!

How is it possible for Ben to be 9? Time is going by way too fast and the kids are all growing way too fast as well!! I think its pretty obvious part of the direction this one will be traveling...especially as he enjoys wearing his Mamas old fatigues....gotta LOVE a Tank cake! That so Ben!! Happy Birthday Ben! Grammy loves you!!!!
So fun seeing so many pictures of Ben! He and Jack are two peas in a pod! The boys saw your AWESOME birthday cake and said, "Mom, its okay that you don't make as awesome birthday cakes as Aunt Merri." Gee, thanks! Maybe I shouldn't show them pictures anymore! (But the tank was truly awesome!!) Love you..and Ben!!
