We had lots of fun "camp" food and hot chocolate. Daddy kept the grill very busy!
We spent time outdoors too!
Of course we made S'mores too!
Mostly we just spent time enjoying each others company.
The cabin we rented had a loft. It was like a big sleepover for the kids and they loved it!
One of Jeff's coworkers bought our family a really fun game, Pie Face!
We played lots of other games too.
On the way home we were able to spend the morning at the Frontier Culture Museum. It was super cold that day, but we were able to rent a golf cart to tour the massive museum grounds. The kids thought Daddy driving a golf cart was the highlight of the week! It was really a neat time to visit the museum as all the homes were decorated for Christmas according to the traditions of their time!
Jacob playing with a Jacob's ladder!
Our one room school house!
This was a wonderful week together. It just might become a family tradition!

OKAY...this looked like just way too much fun!~!!! What a great way to celebrate Christmas together and no staying up late wrapping gifts!!! Wish we could have joined you!! Joy to the World!!! Love, Ma
I don't know why I didn't check this earlier, knowing you would have such great pictures! I think that trip as a family might be the best Christmas ever! It looked so cozy! And that Pie-in-the-Face game? Next on the list of Meyer family games. Gracie's laughing face was just too cute! Love you all! (Our Utah house might just feel that cozy if you ever want to spend a Christmas out west! :-) )
