It is hard to believe that we have now had Isaac with us for two weeks! It is even harder to remember that yesterday was our due date! Isaac is such a sweet mellow little guy. He sleeps and eats great for a newborn. We had ongoing issues with his Bilirubin. Thankfully the numbers have finally gone down, and so have all of our daily appointments with the pediatrician for checks. As of Monday, Isaac was up to 8 lb and 4 oz! We will not have an official 2 week check up since Isaac was just seen on Monday.
Isaac, like his older siblings, was flagged in his newborn screening with a cystic fibrosis gene. Unlike his siblings, he will not need a sweat test at UNC. The director of the program has decided that with the first three children only being carriers there is not enough concern to force us to go through the test again with Isaac! This is a huge answer to prayer since the test is so miserable to go through.
Luke, Ben, Gracie, Jacob and Caleb all adore their little brother. He has already become such a part of the family it is hard to imagine a time when he was not here. Caleb, of course, is having the hardest time adjusting to not being the baby and missing time with Mommy. But, Caleb still adores Isaac!

Yes, He does make beautiful things...and that sweet Isaac is certainly one of them! Oh, I just love him so much already! That blonde hair!!!!! And the photos of him looking up at big brothers...just precious. Give him a kiss for me. Congratulations on another beautiful addition to the Morgan family! We love you!

Sweet, sweet Isaac. Grammy looks at this video of you and even though I am far away I can feel how soft and precious you were in my arms...I can still smell you in my soul...that precious baby smell. But my arms ache to hold you today...and I am back in AZ. SO very thankful for the time I got to hold and love on you. Grammy Loves you my sweet Blessing #23!!!
