Papa's Visit: Part 2

My Dad can fix anything, seriously. I used to joke when I went off to college and then into the Air Force that I would call my Dad from miles away and say, "Daddy, fix it!" Thankfully, I married a man who is also amazing at "fixing" things around the house. Still, whenever my Dad comes to visit we find all kinds of fix-it projects for him! This time he was helping us get our house ready to hopefully sell this summer! (More on that later). The kids had a blast watching Papa help Daddy work and pack up boxes. They were quite the little "helpers"!

Okay, so our kids don't get the chance to ride with Papa on his lawn mower in Arizona, so we had to make due inside of a local Lowes!

It was quite rainy while Papa was here, so one day we headed to Jumpin Beans to jump out some excess energy!

Before he left we also took a field trip to the Morehead Planetarium in Chapel Hill. We have wanted to go there all year since we have been studying astronomy. We saw a few exhibits and watched a fun Magic Tree House show about space in the Planetarium dome!

 Papa spoiled us while he was here for sure. We all miss him so much!

 Papa left pretty big shoes to fill now that he is gone...... :)
