High Country Vacation, Cabin Fun

One of the highlights of our trip was time just spent as a family, enjoying our surroundings. From our cabin the kids would sit near the window before breakfast trying to see what wildlife they could find. For Luke's birthday he received a book intended to help identify different types of animals. Every time we would see something new, he would run to check and see if it was in his book.

One afternoon we visited a cheese factory and got to watch cheese being made. Of course we also got to try and purchase a few types of yummy cheese too!

The kids loved having Aunt Gentry with us on vacation, and so did we!

Of course we had to make some "fire food" in the cabin's fire pit outside! With huge marshmallows and S'mores!
