Happy Father's Day!

Father's Day this year was spent a little differently than normal since we were on the road driving. Yes, Father's Day was the beginning of our week long family vacation in the mountains of NC. We have lots of pictures and blog posts to catch up, but for now we will just post a few pictures of our Father's Day! We are so grateful for a Daddy/Husband that works so hard to lead our family and follow the Lord. He is a wonderful provider and protector and we are so grateful for him.

Here's a picture of Jacob helping us pack up all our food and kitchen supplies for the week! :)

All set, ready to head on out for our week of fun as a family. We actually have had the privilege of having Aunt Gentry stay with us for three weeks in June. She was able to join us on our trip and was such a huge help! We want to keep her for good!

Daddy is a master car packer. He is just simply the best there is at fitting all of our needs into our car. A weeks worth of supplies for seven people, fishing poles, coolers, bedding, food, and a stroller....a huge puzzle that he somehow figures out every time!

We finally arrived at our rental cabin. When we pulled up Ben said "our cabin was built out of Lincoln logs!" We originally were going to camp this fall, but when we found out baby boy was due in October that idea was cut short. Our compromise to "camping" was an air conditioned cabin near a river, perfect for a pregnant Mommy!

Here is Daddy with his brood. Thank you Lord for this wonderful Daddy, and for our Fathers as well!
