What we have been up to...

The last few weeks have been busy around the Morgan household, as you can imagine. Here is a taste of what we have been up to lately.

Mommy has been teaching some "home economics" to us. So far we have made chocolate chip muffins and Banana Blueberry muffins. Our favorite part was smashing the bananas! Luke has learned the new skill of cracking open an egg for baking. (He did it perfect the first time!) This week Mommy even took all four of us to Wal-Mart and BJ's by herself for groceries. Go Mommy!! On the way home Luke asked, "What does 'You have your hands full' mean?" You can imagine all the times we heard that phrase while shopping!

Gracie isn't always sure which way to hold the spoon and stir, but she has a blast anyway!

This is the Morgan band. Mommy wonders sometimes what she was thinking when she purchased these instruments for us to play with, but we love them!

Here we are finger painting. This was a first for Gracie, and she was not quite sure if she liked it or not.

The week that Jacob was born, we decided to see if there were any green thumbs in the Morgan household. We planted several different types of vegetables to see if we could grow a mini garden. Sadly, many of our plants have not handled our backyard well, but our tomato and pepper plants look great. Every morning we run out to look out the window to see if they have grown. We can't wait to maybe have our own tomatoes to eat this summer!

A few weekends ago, Mommy and Daddy's Sunday school class had a family work/serve day at the local New Life Camp. Our whole family went. Luke and Ben had a blast helping out with various projects, and it was a great way to teach them about serving God.

Mommy walked around the campground and played on the playground with Jacob and Gracie while Daddy, Luke and Ben did the hard work!

Since the weather has warmed up we have tried to get outside and enjoy it a little bit. Here we are writing messages and drawing pictures with sidewalk chalk for Daddy while he is at work!

In other news, Mommy and Daddy are still working out the schedule and details, but we are going to be homeschooling Luke in the fall for Kindergarten. We are very excited and a little overwhelmed at the idea, but feel this is where God is leading our family, at least for next year. So stay tuned next fall for all of our schooling adventures!

The activities at the Morgan household make me sleepy! It is amazing how much you guys squeeze in a day. I guess with two very busy little boys, that is what happens. Love you guys.
