Our oldest, Luke, is 5 years old today! It is hard to believe that this is the 4th birthday he has celebrated with us as a family. We will be going on a fun family adventure tomorrow night to celebrate (shhh....it's a secret, but involves horses! :)) Then this coming weekend we will celebrate with family and friends.
Luke is developing into such a compassionate, caring little boy. He has an insatiable appetite to learn, but also to serve. He LOVES doing chores, and is a phenomenal big brother. I was a little bit worried about how he would respond when we told him that he would be going to kindergarten with Mommy instead of with other kids. He took it all in stride, and told me he was glad he would not have to miss Ben, Gracie, and Jacob.
Thank you Lord for our son Luke and the five years you have given him. We pray you would continue to bless him and grow him into a young man with honor and integrity and a passion for you.

Thank you, Lord for the gift of this special boy in our lives. Luke holds a special place in all of our hearts and most importantly in yours. Help guide his Mom and Dad in all they need to do to grow him to be a man who stands strong for You. Surround him with the love of family and teach him early to lean on you always.
