What we have been up to

Just thought we would share some of the things the boys have enjoyed this summer. Along with visits to the park and library, and occasionally to the pool, we have enjoyed playing "school" with Mommy in the mornings when Gracie takes a nap. We have learned how to use scissors and are working on our letters and numbers.

We also like "feeding" and taking care of our dogs, Smudges and Dooley!

When Daddy comes home from work and Mommy is putting Gracie to bed, Daddy plays guns with us!

We also like playdo and fingerpainting and helping Mommy make muffins and cookies!

In school we are also learning about character traits. For the month of June we learned about honesty/truthfulness. We memorized two verses to help us learn about being honest, Proverbs 15:3 and Psalm 51:6. In July we learned about kindness and we memorized Ephesians 4:32. This month we are learning about being content and we are working on 1 Timothy 6:6-7. We also learned the pledge of allegiance! Here is a video of some things we have learned! Mommy and Daddy are still praying and debating what to do for official school. Thank goodness they still have another year before they have to decide for Luke. Homeschooling just seems so overwhelming, but we will see what God leads our family to do with each of our kids.
