Crazy Winter Weather

This year has just been a crazy one so far with weather. We have been hit with several back to back ice and snow storms. Unfortunately, the weather has been so cold and so miserable it has not afforded a whole lot of snow play time. Here are a few pictures of crazy winter weather!

After a thaw from one of our recent ice storms, we were able to play a bit in the left over ice.

The snow was absolutely beautiful. We just wish it did not come with all the chaos too.

It is difficult to see in this picture, but when it snows we have an absolutely gorgeous cardinal that brightens up our yard.

Here is a bit of insight into what it takes to get six little kids ready to play in the snow.

Finally all ready! Whew!

Our first time to play in the snow this winter!

Is this just not the cutest little snow bunny ever?

Luke and Ben loved it and stayed outside for over two hours! The littlest ones did not last quite that long. They came inside for warm baths, cuddles under blankets, and hot chocolate!

After the next winter storm, we lost our power for an entire day! It was a full time job keeping kids warm and busy with no electricity. Thankfully the electricity came back on before bed time. It was already in the 50's inside the house.

Although we love the cold adventures we are ready for some spring weather!

We loved seeing all of these pictures, and Jack wanted to be there to enjoy the snow, too! What a different winter we are having from you guys! You do deserve some kind of medal for suiting them all up for the snow! Love you all...sending warm hugs from Las Vegas!
