Back to the Mill

Since Jacob loves the old historic mill nearby (as do all of the kids), we decided to visit it again for his birthday. This time we actually got a tour of the inside of the mill built in 1756 which is still working! Fascinating!!

 

We even brought home some of the corn meal ground at this mill!

The mill had several jobs beyond just grinding corn. Absolutely ingenious the way they were able to harvest the power of that water for so many different uses!

Another site we plan to visit often!
