Today our Ben turns seven years old! Ben has such intense energy and passion, he brings us loads of joys mixed with parenting challenges. He has a tender heart for God, and loves to learn about Him and memorize His word. Every year unfolds new aspects of Ben's personality that we get to learn about. When focused Ben amazes us beyond words with his abilities in school and athletics. Ben continues to be our non-stop bundle of energy. Thank you Lord for the gift of our son Ben, and another year to celebrate Your work in his life.
Saturday we were able to celebrate his birthday. He had been sick that AM, but thankfully was just fine that afternoon in time to celebrate. He asked for his second favorite food, lasagna, for dinner. We will have his favorite (pancakes) today on his actual birthday.
Instead of a "one-on-one" time with Mommy and Daddy this year, Ben got an I.O.U. He will get to take Daddy and Luke to the Monster Truck Jam when it comes to Raleigh in April!
Ben loves all things action, including super heroes. This year for his birthday we made him a Spider Man cake! He loved it!
