Come fly a kite!

Last week we finally got an opportunity to teach the boys how to fly kites! We had so much fun.

3/9/09 Readoption Decree Complete, Waiting for new Birth Certificates with American Names!
2/4/09 Final Readoption Paperwork Hand Delivered to Court
8/16/08 Sent in initial Readoption Paperwork
4/12/08 Home to the US as a family of four!
4/8/08 Embassy Appointment is a success
4/7/08 Our first meeting with Luke and Ben
4/5/08 On a plane to Africa!!!!!!!
3/26/08 Received word of Embassy Appointment for 4/8/08
3/6/08 We have two sons!
2/26/08 Court Date Rescheduled Again for 3/6/08
2/20/08 Court Date Rescheduled Again for 2/26/08
2/19/08 Court Date postponed until 2/20/08
2/6/08 Court Date Rescheduled Again for 2/19/08
2/1/08 Notified of CWA Family Builder Fund Grant for $2000!
1/22/08 Received word that court date was rescheduled for 2/8/08
1/11/08 Received Notice of our Court Date 1/21/2008
12/17/07 Received notice that both boys are healthy and in the CWA foster home!
11/9/07 Accepted Referral for these two boys!
11/7/07 Received Referral for Two boys, ages 7 and 14 months!
11/2/07 Received message from Case Manager about potential referral!
8/3/2007 Dossier sent to Ethiopia!!
7/18/07 Dossier sent to D.C. for Authentication
6/29/2007 Dossier Documents sent to CWA for review
6/12/2007 Notified that we received $3000 grant from Shaohannah's Hope
6/9/07 Yard Sale to Raise Adoption Funds, approx $400!!
5/30/2007 Received CIS approval
3/31/2007 CIS Fingerprinting in Charlotte
3/29/07 Dossier documents authenticated by Sec. of State office in NC
2/17/2007 Home visit with social worker completed
2/5/2007 Sent CIS application
1/18/2007 Application for Adoption Sent to CWA
