On the Friday of the week they competed in the "field" portions of the track meet including the high jump, long jump, and javelin! Saturday morning was the track portion of the meet. The kids enjoyed parading out with their team mates to Olympic music.
It was an incredibly long and hot morning! Jacob, Caleb, and Isaac were a great cheer squad for their siblings although they did get a bit stir crazy.
Luke, Ben, and Gracie all did such a great job, we are so proud of them. Gracie shocked us the most. She apparently loves to run! Out of the entire group of 25-30 six year old girls, Gracie placed 6th in both the 100m and 100m hurdles!
They also have a sibling run. Jacob was so excited to participate, he was all smiles!
Caleb also enjoyed running in the 3 yr old sibling run, with a little encouraging help from his big brother!
So proud of the little brothers for giving it their all!
