We recently were able to take a week long vacation to the beach! Jeff's parents and brother's family from Virginia joined us as well.
Last year we studied American history and Swimming Creatures in school. There were plenty of swimming creatures to study on our vacation. The entire family enjoyed visiting The Wright Brother's Memorial after our study of American history!
At the memorial we learned that it was Orville who made that first momentous flight of 120 ft in 12 seconds. He was still alive when the US dropped the atomic bomb and Chuck Yeager broke the sound barrier! What am amazing change in flight history in just 42 short years.
