Indoor picnics during rainy weather!
Outdoor picnics during nice weather!
Gracie has done an amazing job this year with her preschool work. She is progressing faster than I can keep up some days! Hard to believe our baby girl will be in Kindergarten next year!
We absolutely loved our Apologia study of swimming creatures this year. We are hoping to make a visit to the beach and an aquarium at the end of the summer to top off our study.
Here we made a brittle sea star!
Popsicle and hot water experiment to understand hot and cold water currents.
Learning about purifying water.
Keeping track of our experiments in science journals
Lots of reading books in the Morgan house.
Typing instruction
We made Indian Fry Bread when we studied Arizona! :)
PE class with Isaac! :) Luke loves to teach Isaac how to kick a ball.
Isaac loves his training with Luke!
All of the kids have chores. Lately Caleb wants to be a big boy and do chores too. He loves to do dishes!
Field trip to a car show with Grandpa and Grandma.
This year the home school convention fell on Luke's birthday and he asked to come along with me. He loved this booth with swords! As always, I had fun searching and planning for our next school year at home!
Luke picked out some great books at the convention for his younger siblings.
Memorial Day was the perfect day to finish up our study of American History. What better day to honor and celebrate those who we studied that gave their lives for our freedom!
We found fun American Flag glow sticks for our Memorial Day remembrance. We had fun playing with the sticks and trying out different settings on the camera!
We finished up with ice cream with red, white and blue sprinkles!
As a final celebration, we took Luke and Ben to the opening night of the new movie Beyond the Mask. It is a Christian film about redemption, set during 1776 in Revolutionary America! It was a bit intense, but a really good movie.
We look forward to sharing what next year's plans will be for the Morgan school!

What a great way to end your year! I've heard great things about that movie, but sadly, Las Vegas doesn't seem to be a place that opens to such a film! We'll have to wait for that one. Love you all!
