The kids have all been such troopers over the last few weeks as we have been getting the house ready to sell. We put into storage the majority of all their toys and craft supplies.....and it rained for several weeks straight so we couldn't go outside to play. They have become quite creative playing with their remaining toys in new ways. Some afternoons we have to resort to the old favorite: playing with kitchen utensils and tupperware.
With some of our furniture already in storage to show our house we have enjoyed having more floor space to play. The kids especially like the extra space for floor puzzles!
On a side note, my hubby is amazing. His skills in painting and fixing up a home are just incredible. I keep telling him he could make money fixing up people's homes to show! :) Here is a link to the Video Tour from our home on sale. Yes, we are still living here with seven people even though it may not look like it! :)
We already have a contract on our new home too! This has all happened so fast! We are not moving far away, (to a town outside of Raleigh called Knightdale) but to a house with more room and a bigger backyard! Whahoo!
If all goes well we will be closing on both houses at the end of August. This will be a busy summer for us. We are excited to get settled into our new home before we start our next school year.
Please keep us in your prayers for all the logistics of moving with five kids! It looks like the two closings will have to be two days a part, so we will be finding a hotel to stay in for a few nights. Things should be exciting! :)

Both houses look amazing and like model homes with no one living there! Not sure how you pulled that off but I would think there was family cooperation beyond the normal days!! Eager for you to have more room and feel all settled in for the arrival of fall and the holidays!! Love and Miss you all, wish I was there to help...hugs and kisses, Grammy!

Wow, 500! SO happy you guys are going to be able to expand with your living space. Cant wait to come see the new digs!
